By The Sea - Storm Coming

This piece represents a departure from my usual work of boats. I was trying to experiment with simple strokes in this piece which features two dying pine trees by the beach in Morib. The surrounding scenery has been simplified as I try to capture the mood of the impending storm and the trees. This piece was done in August 2005
